Project Description

4WD Cell
Maranello (Mo), 2015

The building, constructed using a reinforced concrete structure and masonry infill walls with multilayer aluminium panels on the exterior, consists of a basement level and three floors above ground (800 square metres each) and a flat roof. On the ground floor, the main nucleus is the great motor testing cell (referred to as the test chamber), two control rooms looking onto the cell, all-purpose rooms and technical areas serving the cell, reception and services premises, a simulation area, workstations and car preparation spaces, a ventilation room next to the cell, as well as a materials deposit serving the activities of the cell. The project was completed after only eight months of building work.
